Dr Helen Harrison BDS MFGDP (GDC no.60779)

I qualified in 1985 from the Royal London Hospital and have worked mostly in general dental practice ever since; I gained the Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1995.

My interests and skills are in providing high-quality repairs and replacements for teeth, together with prevention of dental problems. I also have a particular interest in the functional aspects of jaw joints and teeth and the way they affect and are affected by general health and fitness.

I established the Granta Dental team in 1990 because I wanted to create a practice which specialises in personalised, holistic dental care by understanding and responding to the individual needs of every patient. I'm delighted to say that I've now built a committed and professional team that does just that.

Dr Ismael Romero Clark BDS (GDC no.197582)

I qualified from the University of Granada in southern Spain, having also undertaken additional training at Kings College London and a clinical assistanceship placement at the University of Oslo-Norway. The Scandinavian approach to dentistry reflects their high standard of living. Their attention to patient care, together with advanced technology and treatments have inspired me.

My general dental practice experience has been within the NHS in Scotland. The isolated rural setting challenged me to use my knowledge to provide practical and effective solutions to my patients individual dental needs. I have now decided to settle in Cambridge.

I am pleased to be part of a great team aiming to provide a friendly approach, which grants the opportunity to treat patients as individuals. I like the excellent facilities and staff support.

I primarily enjoy caring for people, helping to restore and protect dental health. I have particular interest in enhancing smiles and appearance utilising the most modern technology solutions to also repair teeth and improve comfort.  I am excited and look forward to building relationships, and providing continuing care that extends to the whole family.

Neil Bukavs (GDC no.195832)

Dental Therapist and Hygienist

I began my career in dentistry as a Dental Nurse and am now a Dental Therapist and Hygienist.

I qualified at Bart's Hospital London and the Royal School of Medicine and Dentistry, where I developed a particular interest in Paediatric Dentistry and Special Needs Care; I am continuing my post-graduate training in these areas.

Before coming to Granta Dental, my previous work as a Dental Hygienist has built my understanding of patient care and I reflect this in how I work; I firmly believe that all patients should have a positive experience every time they visit a dental care professional.
