Painless injections

Many people have a fear associated with needles, particularly in association with dentistry. This equipment has already helped many of our patients to overcome this barrier to dental treatment and health.

Unlike other injections the WandTM is a painless, controlled delivery of anaesthetic directly to the tooth. This avoids the unpleasant numbness of lips and face following a procedure and significantly decreases the quantity of anaesthetic required for comfortable treatment.

This system is now used routinely at the practice.

We also use OraqixTM. This is a gel syringed around the gumline of sensitive teeth to eliminate the discomfort of cleaning. Please ask the hygienist when you see her if this would be useful for you.
