Payments

At Granta Dental we believe we offer the highest level of care plus excellent value for money. 

• Consultation appointments for check-ups, emergencies and advice are charged according to the time taken. We quote an indicative fee for these services according to the appointment slot reserved, but the full fee is calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the time actually spent.
• Fees for planned treatment are calculated on an individual basis according to the complexity of the work and the time allocated for treatment and are payable in instalments at the end of each visit or stage. For large courses of treatment we routinely provide a written estimate of charges.

A fee is charged for broken appointments or appointments cancelled at short notice unless we are able to use the time for another patient. An administration charge will be levied on accounts which are outstanding after 30 days. 

Note: as a private practice it is necessary for us to charge the total cost of providing dental care. This includes all the staff, equipment, sterilisation, materials, laboratory and training associated with the treatments and professional advice that we offer.  Fees for treatment planning and the preparation of information are calculated at an administrative rate, lower than the full clinical rate to reflect the lower overheads on this work, according to the time taken.
