Encouraging oral health from the beginning

Our practice policy is to welcome and encourage children to come and visit us regularly. We set out to provide the best possible care for children's teeth with ample professional time to achieve this. Children have very immediate and varying needs and all need proper monitoring of their health and growth to ensure that their teeth last them for a lifetime. Parents often need detailed information and advice about dental care and this can be time consuming.

Appointments for check-ups, development review and prevention can be paid for according to the clinical time used. A typical check-up appointment would cost £43 but it is not unusual for a consultation to last 40 minutes if the child is anxious or if there are problems to discuss.

Alternatively we offer monthly or annual payment plans to cover children's routine dental care including check-ups with the dentist, hygienist appointments, x-rays and plaque and saliva tests.  Fees start from £7.12 per month and entitle the child to a 10% discount on all treatments outside those included in the plan. The aim of this scheme is to simplify charges and encourage regular attendance to prevent or minimise any need for treatment.
